The Society for Creative Anachronism
is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our “Known World” consists of 20 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.
Our local Shire is called Frostheim and its members live mainly in the Luleå – Boden area. We host a few events and craftsessions every year and our big public display is usually the medieval days at hägnan.

The story of Master SvartulvR and his household
coming up soon
Left: Royally fooled by my friends, I thought I was safe during court since I had a metal hat. Center: Offered a place in the order of the Laurels. Right: A happy new master spoiled with wonderful gifts. If you cannot see me it is due to the thick russian wolf pelt.
